As well as developing their French language skills, students at PCHS will learn about the diversity and importance of the French and Francophone culture. The French curriculum covers a range of engaging topics such as the study of the role of family, film, education, home and abroad, health, music, literature and social issues. Students will develop their confidence when participating in conversations in French and develop their resilience in the study of vocabulary and grammar.
Spanish at PCHS aims to inspire students to develop a passion for Hispanic culture. Like French, the Spanish curriculum studies a range of topics such as the role of technology, Fiestas in Spain/Latin America, hobbies, film, literature and tourism. Students will develop their linguistic and communication skills in a variety of contexts and become curious and independent learners.
